Dr. Jason Besecker has called Boise, ID home since 1985. He received his BS and MS in Biology from Boise State University and went on to earn a Doctor of Optometry at Indiana University School of Optometry. He completed internships in the treatment and management of ocular disease, pre- and post-operative surgical care, and primary eye care at Indiana University School of Optometry, Hudson Valley VA Medical Center, and at The Eye Institute of Utah.
In July of 2021 Dr. Besecker founded the first of its kind dry eye center in Meridian, Idaho. Several treatments for patients with dry eye symptoms are also used for aesthetic treatments such as intense pulsed light and radio frequency. After noticing that many of his dry eye patients were also interested in minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, Dr. Besecker decided to expand his cosmetic treatment options to include ocular aesthetics and the management of inflammatory skin conditions. As an eye care professional Dr. Besecker possesses extensive knowledge of the intricate anatomy and physiology of the eye and surrounding structures. This expertise ensures that ocular aesthetic treatments are performed with a deep understanding of both function and form leading to superior results.
As an eye care physician, I believe it is important to actively listen to, and respect patients’ individual wants and needs. I recognize that each patient is different and requires individualized care. My goal as an eye care physician is to achieve excellence in providing compassionate care and superior results to all patients. To attain this, it is necessary to provide patients with accurate information about their condition or diagnosis. I feel it is important for patients to be educated about their conditions and the choices they have for treatment options. I believe that the more a patient knows about their condition and options they have for treatment the more involved they are with their care, which leads to better long-term results.
Hello, I’m Acacia, originally from the beautiful Boise Idaho area. In 2017 I earned my Master Aesthetics license at Acaydia School of Aesthetics in Provo, Utah. Shortly after, I became a mother with the arrival of my daughter and son, who are just a year apart. As a mother of two young children, I balance my professional life with family time, cherishing moments spent outdoors and enjoying time with my loved ones.
Professionally, I am passionate about and experienced in treating inflammatory skin conditions such as Acne and Rosacea. Our practice at Envision Specialty Eye Care and Virtue Aesthetics includes a variety of treatments specializing in Dry Eye and inflammatory skin conditions including IPL (Intense Pulse Light) Therapy, Radio Frequency Microneedling, Mesotherapy, Chemical Peels, and Dermaplaning.
